Last updated: 28 April 2026
These are the terms and conditions on which we sell watches to you via our website (watchreserve.co.uk), via social media, by phone, and in our showroom.
Please read these terms carefully before buying a watch from us. They tell you who we are, how we will provide your watch, how either of us may change or end our agreement, and what to do if there is a problem. Please pay particular attention to the section titled "Our Liability to You."
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website.
These terms apply to consumers only. You are a consumer if you are an individual buying a watch for personal use, and not in connection with a business or trade. We do not sell watches to businesses.
By using our website, creating an account, or purchasing a watch from us, you confirm that:
Additional terms also apply to your purchase, including our returns policy, our warranty, and our privacy policy. If you purchase using finance, we will provide the relevant additional terms at the time.
We are Watch Reserve Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16541771. Our registered office is at Amelia House, Crescent Road, Worthing, BN11 1RL. Our trading address is 25 Cabot Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 4QZ.
You can reach us by telephone on 0208 150 1987 or by email at info@watchreserve.co.uk. If we need to contact you, we will do so by telephone or at the email address you have provided.
When we refer to "writing" or "written" in these terms, this includes email.
You can place an order by visiting our showroom, calling us on 0208 150 1987, or emailing info@watchreserve.co.uk.
For online and phone purchases, we will send you an email confirming whether your order has been accepted, along with the estimated delivery date and any deposit paid.
If we cannot accept your order: If we are unable to accept your order for any reason - for example, because the watch is no longer available, there is a fault, or we have identified a pricing error - we will let you know in writing and will not charge you.
We supply watches across the UK mainland and, subject to agreement, internationally. Where we agree to ship outside the UK, delivery costs, taxes, and duties may vary.
Images on our website and in marketing materials are for illustrative purposes only. While we do our best to represent watches accurately, colours and finishes may appear slightly different on your device.
We may ask you to provide additional information or evidence of identity to complete your purchase. We also reserve the right to carry out credit and identity checks.
If you would like to make a change to your order, please contact us and we will let you know whether it is possible and advise of any effect on price or timing.
We may make changes to reflect updates in relevant laws or regulatory requirements.
Prices are displayed on our website and in our showroom and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Delivery charges outside the UK will be confirmed at the time of order.
If the rate of VAT changes between your order date and the date we supply your watch, we will adjust accordingly, unless you have already paid in full.
If a watch is incorrectly priced, we will contact you before accepting your order. If the correct price is lower than stated, we will charge the lower amount. If it is higher and you do not wish to proceed, we will refund any sums paid within 10 business days.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, debit card, bank transfer, and finance.
We may require a deposit of 10% to secure your order. We reserve the right to request a higher deposit for high-value purchases. Full details can be found in our Deposit Policy.
We will arrange a suitable time with you to deliver your watch or for you to collect it from our showroom. It is your responsibility to ensure your delivery address is correct.
We will aim to deliver your watch as soon as reasonably possible. If your order is delayed by something outside our control, we will let you know and take steps to minimise the impact. If the delay is substantial, you may end the agreement and receive a full refund.
Your watch becomes your responsibility from the time it is delivered or collected. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full and in cleared funds.
We will not dispatch a watch until payment has been received in full. If you purchased using finance and issues arise at a later date, you will be required to make payment in full.
We sell pre-owned watches via our website, showroom, and social media. All watches are authenticated as part of our checking process. Where a watch does not include original papers or box, this will be made clear before purchase.
A pre-owned watch will not be in the same condition as a new watch and may not meet the performance standards of a new watch, for example in relation to timekeeping or water resistance. We do not warrant that pre-owned watches will perform as new.
Any stated age of manufacture is an estimate only and is not guaranteed by us.
Some straps and parts may not be original. If this is important to you, please contact us before placing your order.
We do not guarantee water resistance unless specifically stated. Please contact us before purchasing if you have any queries about water resistance.
If we are unable to fulfil your order after accepting it, we will offer a suitable alternative where possible. If this is not possible or you do not wish to proceed, we will issue a full refund within 10 working days.
All watches come with a 24-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Full details can be found in our Warranty Policy. The warranty is only valid if its terms are complied with.
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us at info@watchreserve.co.uk as soon as possible. If your order has not been dispatched, we will refund the full amount. If you cancel within 48 hours of delivery, we may charge for any reasonable costs incurred.
If you purchased online, by phone, or via social media, you have the right to return your watch within 14 days of receipt. Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details. This right does not apply to purchases made in person at our showroom, though your statutory rights are unaffected.
If your watch is faulty, defective, or not as described, please refer to our Returns Policy or contact us at info@watchreserve.co.uk.
If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.
We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of your legal rights in relation to the watch, or liability under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
We supply watches to consumers for personal use only and are not liable for any business losses.
We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation and will notify you if we plan to do so. If you are unhappy with the transfer, you may end the agreement within 7 working days of being notified.
You may not transfer your rights under this agreement to anyone else.
We will not be responsible for events beyond our control, including natural disasters, terrorist attacks, utility failures, strikes, governmental restrictions, or pandemics. If such an event continues for more than 4 weeks, you will have the right to end the agreement and may be entitled to a refund.
If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful, the remaining terms will continue in full force.
If we do not immediately enforce any right under these terms, we may still do so at a later date.
These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Your warranty will not apply in the following circumstances:
Where a claim is accepted, we will repair or replace the affected parts only and will not be liable for any other losses.

We may ask you to send the watch to us for inspection. We will respond within 10 business days to confirm whether your claim has been accepted and advise on next steps.
These are the terms on which we buy watches from you, or act as your agent to sell your watch on your behalf, via our website, showroom, or by phone.
These terms explain how our buying and consignment process works and what both parties are responsible for.
These terms apply to consumers only - individuals selling a watch in a personal capacity and not in the course of a business.
By selling a watch to us or engaging us as your agent, you confirm that:

When we refer to "writing" or "written" in these terms, this includes email.
To sell your watch to us, please provide details of the make, model, approximate age, condition, and whether you have the original box and papers. You can do this via our website, by phone, by email, or in person at our showroom. You are responsible for ensuring all information you provide is accurate and complete.
If we are interested in purchasing your watch, we will provide an indicative quotation. This is subject to contract and is not legally binding. We reserve the right to withdraw it at any time. Unless otherwise agreed, the quotation will remain open for 5 working days.
If you wish to proceed, please arrange for your watch to be delivered to our showroom at 25 Cabot Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 4QZ. You must use a reliable, insured courier and ensure the watch is securely packed. You must insure your watch during transit for its full replacement value. We cannot be held responsible for watches that fail to arrive. If you bring your watch in person, you will need to provide two forms of identification, including a passport or driving licence.
By sending or bringing your watch to us, you confirm that:
Once your watch arrives, we will confirm receipt and aim to inspect it within a reasonable period. We will check its authenticity, condition, and whether it has been reported lost, stolen, or is subject to finance. If the watch matches any lost or stolen register, we may be legally required to secure it and notify the police. You remain responsible for your watch while it is in our possession until we agree to purchase it.
Following inspection, we will let you know whether we wish to proceed and the price we are prepared to pay - the Final Valuation. This may be higher, lower, or the same as the initial quotation. Once you accept the Final Valuation in writing, a binding agreement is formed and you are obliged to sell at that price.
We may ask you to contribute to the cost of any repairs, servicing, or polishing required before we can sell your watch. We will inform you of any such costs in advance.
Once you confirm you wish to proceed, we will pay the Final Valuation - less any agreed costs - to your nominated bank account within 10 working days. Time for payment is not of the essence.
If we have made an error in a quotation or Final Valuation that was obvious and could reasonably have been identified as a mistake, we are not obliged to purchase at the incorrect price. We do not accept liability for accidental errors.
If we discover that any of your warranties or undertakings are untrue or incomplete, we reserve the right to rescind our agreement, require repayment of any sums paid, and/or claim damages for any losses incurred.
Once we have purchased your watch and paid for it in full, it becomes our property and we may deal with it as we choose. You will have no right to request it back.
If you wish to part-exchange your watch against a purchase from us, the two transactions will be treated as separate agreements. If either is breached, we may cancel both without liability.
Rather than buying your watch outright, we may agree to sell it on your behalf as your agent during an agreed sale period.
The same initial steps apply as for a direct sale. Once we agree to act as your agent, we are authorised to commit you to a legally binding sale at a price no lower than the Final Valuation, without further reference to you during the agreed sale period.
You remain responsible for your watch while it is in our possession. You must insure it for its full replacement value throughout the sale period.
If we are unable to sell your watch within the agreed period, we will arrange for it to be returned to you. You will be liable for any reasonable costs incurred in connection with the return and our time acting as your agent.
Once sold, you will not be entitled to change your mind or reclaim the watch. We will transfer the proceeds to your nominated bank account within 10 working days. Time for payment is not of the essence.
Where we act as your agent, we will use reasonable care and skill to secure a sale on your behalf.
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our failure to comply with these terms. We are not responsible for losses that are not foreseeable.
We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or breach of your legal rights.
We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation and will notify you if we plan to do so. If you are unhappy with the transfer, you may end the agreement within 5 working days.
You may not transfer your rights under this agreement to anyone else.
We will not be responsible for events beyond our control. If such an event continues for more than 4 weeks, you may end the agreement and may be entitled to a refund.
If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful, the remaining terms continue in full force.
If we do not immediately enforce any right, we may still do so at a later date.
These terms are governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
